Return & Refund Policy

Overview

You have 7 days from delivery to return any Blaatan jacket in its original, unworn condition. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Exchanges for size are free — we cover return shipping costs for approved size exchanges.

Our Promise

Every Blaatan jacket is handcrafted using Aniline leather and carefully inspected before leaving our studio. We stand behind our craftsmanship and want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase.

We offer a 7-day return window and a 1-year manufacturing warranty. If something has gone wrong on our end, we will make it right.

This policy applies to all orders placed through our website and official ordering channels.


Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

Return Window Return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
Item Condition Must be unworn, unused and unaltered.
Packaging Original box, dust bag, tissue wrap and accessories required.
Tags & Labels All original tags and labels must remain attached.
Proof of Purchase Order number must be provided.
Care Kit Must be returned unused.

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not satisfy these requirements.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that have been worn, washed, dry-cleaned or altered.
  • Items with removed or damaged tags.
  • Items returned after the 7-day return period.

Natural characteristics of aniline leather, including grain variation, minor marks, wrinkles and slight colour differences, are not considered defects.


How to Initiate a Return

  1. Submit a return request through our returns portal or customer support team.
  2. Select the item(s) you wish to return.
  3. Schedule a courier pickup.
  4. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
  5. Hand over the package to the courier partner.

Once approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued. Please include this number with your return shipment.

Inspection & Approval

Returns are inspected within 2–3 business days of arrival.

Inspection includes:

  • Verification of original condition.
  • Verification of tags, labels and packaging.
  • Verification of included care accessories.
  • Assessment for wear, odour or damage.

You will receive an email once your return has been approved or rejected.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Banking institutions may require additional processing time before funds appear in your account.

Refund amount equals the purchase price paid, less any applicable return shipping fee for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Examples of Eligible Defects

  • Faulty stitching.
  • Non-functioning zipper.
  • Broken or missing hardware.
  • Significant leather damage.
  • Incorrect size, colour or product shipped.

Approved claims qualify for either a full refund or free replacement.


Warranty & Repairs

Every Blaatan jacket includes a 1-Year Manufacturing Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Covered Under Warranty

  • Stitching failures.
  • Zipper mechanism failure.
  • Hardware defects.
  • Lining separation caused by manufacturing defects.

Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Accidental damage.
  • Improper care or misuse.
  • Exposure to water, chemicals or excessive heat.
  • Unauthorized alterations.

Lifetime Repair Service

We offer lifetime repair support for all Blaatan jackets. Customers pay only for materials and shipping. Labour charges are waived.


Order Cancellations

Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before shipment.

After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. Eligible customers may initiate a return after delivery.
